On the 21st of November 2010. international Battodo taikai took place in Yokohama, Japan. The event was organized by the Kokusai Battodo Renmei and the head dojo of the federation - Kakuseikai. About 100 competitors took part - from Japan, USA, Great Britain, Australia, Indonesia and Serbia. Before the competition, there was a seminar led by the Kakuseikai senior teachers, as well as the examination for the yudansha grades. After competition, a visit to Sado island was organized with visit to a swordsmith workshop, which was a unique opportunity for visitors to see a process of making a sword.

The representative of Serbia on this year's taikai was Mr Bojan Ivkovic. Before the taikai, Mr Ivkovic successfully passed his nidan examination.
