On the 25th and 26th of June 2011, Nomura Yoshitaka sensei, instructor of the Kokusai Battodo Renmei from Yokohama, held a Battodo seminar, as well as the yudansha examination, in Belgrade. Seminar was organized by Iaido and Battodo Federation of Serbia. 16 persons particiated in the seminar from three dojos of our federation. At the end of the seminar was held the yudansha examination. Shodan: Miodrag Zivkovic and Ranko Marelj. Nidan: Igor Marinkovic and Vuk Vukicevic. Sandan: Milan Ilic and Djordje Stojsic. Yondan: Darko Gedelovski.
The main theme of this seminar were the basic technical elements of the waza, and not the kata itself. Nomura sensei concentrated greatly on the details as: te no uchi, shiboru or enkeisen, which are the basis of any other Battodo technique.
